Don’t You Know I’m Drowning

Spring 2024.

“Don’t You Know I’m Drowning” is a physical sculpture made out of a gutted used book, beads, UV reactive screenprinting ink, mirror paper, holographic vinyl, fishing twine, and aluminum wire. The piece is meant to be reminiscent of a childhood, where one uses books as a form of escapism to another world – the world that exists only in a book.
