Aquatica Illustria is the first illustration set that I’ve really done without any guidance or parameters on subject matter or style. The only parameters were that it was a set of four different illustrations that were all related to each other and created with a similar style to one another. I chose to illustrate four different species of fish on gradient backgrounds. These fish are all species that I either want to take photos of in the future (freshwater angelfish and discus), or have already taken photos of (anchovies at Monterey Bay Aquarium).
